Thailand. (Domestic Air Mail Service). 1922. Air Mail envelope addressed to 'The Oriental Stamp Co. Bangkok' bearing Siam SG 217, 10s yellow-brown and grey tied by bilingual Ubon date stamp '10/10/65 (10th July 1922), endorsed 'By Air Post' with Bangkok/ 2 arrival and large type "aeroplane" arrival with date error and date plug inverted.
Initially at UBON (UBOL) an ordinary date stamp was used as a cancel before the introduction of the Royal Aeronautical Service large 'aeroplane hand-stamp. Scarce item.
