A very scarce item from the Bangkok to Chanthabyri Trial Flight.
Nils Ramm-Ericson in 'Airmails of Siam Part 1, Domestic Airmail Services' on page 15 notes the King Vajiravudh issue 'on piece' or blocks of four had been prepared and stamped. These stamps are reported to have been given by senior officials present at the departure.
The cachet is more oblong than the 1st Bangkok trial flight cachet being 30mm in length rather than 29mm.
