Stamp-less envelope written from 'Puerto Cabello' dated 'Nov 7th 1858' with oval 'Bloum, Hagan & Co' firms chop addressed to Bordeaux, France, endorsed 'per steamer "Padstow", routed via Baltimore and forwarded with oval hand-stamp 'F.W. Brune & Sons/ Forwarded by/ Baltimore' on reverse in blue and Baltimore/ Md transit 'Jan 7th 1859' with 'New York/ 12' transit 'Jan 8' and octagonal 'Et Unis Serv. Am D Havre' date stamp '22nd Janv 59' in blue on face (Salles 1794), charged with hand-struck '8' with Bordeaux arrival '24th Jan'.
