Stamp-less folded letter written from the 'Swiss Consulate, New York' (circular blue cachet on reverse) addressed to Switzerland cancelled by New York / 3 date stamp '9th June', endorsed 'Per Steamer "Africa"/ French Mail' with boxed French accountancy 'F/ 30' (Van der Linden 1163) and French entry cachet in red '2nd Juil' on face and rated '110' in m/s red crayon with 'Ambulant Circular Berne No 3' on reverse (struck twice) and Fribourg arrival. Very nice item of Trans-Atlantic mail with French accountancy.
