(Transit Francaise) and Paris double ring in blue '7th Dec' on reverse and Dutch entry cachet 'Frankyk/ Over Breda' in red (Van der Linden 1525) and Schiedam receiver 'Dec 9', rated '37' debit to Netherlands and manuscript '80' Dutch cents due rating.
Very attractive cover carried on the Havre Second Line "Charles Carroll" which departed New York November 1st 1838.
