Envelope addressed to Amsterdam cancelled by CERES/ N.Y. double ring 'Jun 16', endorsed 'Paid 21 Cents' (U.S. inland postage 5c + 16c sea postage), routed via New York with New York/ A.M. PKT' in red 'June 21', routed via London with London transit '7 Jy' and hand-struck 'U.S. PKT' on face and manuscript '4' (debit to Holland) and Amsterdam arrival on reverse '9/7' and manuscript '40' Dutch cent due rating.

London marked the 'U.S. PKT' to show basis for G.B. debit to Holland (letter paid to England leaving only transit to Netherlands unpaid).

The Dutch postage due consisted of 4d or 20 cents to G.B. and 20 cents internal fee in the Netherlands.
