Folded Printed circular headed 'Baltimore Price-Current Letter Sheet' dated 'March 20 1858' addressed to Amsterdam cancelled by undated 'BALTd/ PAID' in blue, endorsed 'Per "Canada" and 'Printed' with 'Et. Unis Serv. Br. A.C.' ambulant in red '6th Avril', manuscript '2' in red crayon (debit to U.K.), manuscript '15' on reverse and framed triangular '1 1/2c/ Amsterdam' in blue with manuscript '12 1/2' cents Dutch due rating.
Printed circular sent by British Open Mails at Newspaper rate. Amsterdam applied triangular '1 1/2' cents marking in blue, a fiscal tax on all printed matter from foreign countries (Zegelrecht), not usually seen on front of covers but normally hand-stamped inside.
