Envelope addressed to France bearing Yvert 12, 2r green (imperf) tied oval Correos/de Venezuela /Caracas with circular '0' (to indicate only the interior postage had been paid), endorsed 'via St. Nazaire' with octagonal French Consular 'La Guayra' in blue (Salles 1374) dated '10 Aout 76' routed via Vera Cruz and St Thomas on the French paquebot "V. Bordeaux" with 'Ligne B Paq. Fr, No 1' date stamp (Salles 1433) '29th Aout' and 'T hand-stamp and charged with hand-struck '12' on arrival for the onwards postage with Bordeaux receiver '15th Sept' on reverse. A superb exhibition item.
