Very rare item from the Italian Post Office in Tunisia.

Routed via London 'Mr 5th ' , Belgium and Hamburg with boxed 'Hamburg/K.S.P.A. (D)' of the Royal Swedish Post Office '8/3', charged '1/4' in black ink with m/s '17' (silbergroschen) in blue ink the Prussian claim including Belgian transit and rated '1-94' (1 riksdaler 94 ore) on face collected in Stockholm. Scarce item of incoming mail from Brazil.

Interesting item posted in the Royal Danish Post Office in Hamburg. The 1854 British letter rate to Denmark via Belgium was 10 1/2d / 1/2 oz. This letter was carried to Hamburg to evade postage.
