Envelope written from London dated '6th October 1862' addressed to Aalborg bearing Denmark Yvert 8, 4k brown tied by 'K.D.O.P.A./ Hamburg' duplex with Aalborg arrival on reverse. Interesting item posted in the Royal Danish Post Office in Hamburg. The 1854 British letter rate to Denmark via Belgium was 10 1/2d / 1/2 oz. This letter was carried to Hamburg to evade postage.

Sweden. (Finland). 1874. Envelope addressed to Tavasehus, Finland bearing Yvert 16, 3o bistre, Yvert 18, 5o green and Yvert 21, 20o orange tied by Stockholm cds with adjacent 'Pinska Jernagens Post Kupe Exped' double ring. Very fine three colour franking.
