London bearing French Cameroun Yvert 223, 1f25 carmine (pair) tied by Ebolowa/ Cameroun date stamp '10th Juin 42' with circular 'Controle Postal/ Commission C/ Territoire du Cameroun' on reverse and 'Controle Postal Militaire' censor label tied by oval 'Ouvert/ Par/ L' Autorite Militaire' and 'A/1' censor cachet with 'Opened by Examiner/ 6523' applied in London. Commission C was applied in Ebolowa in June/ July 42 and only a few are known. Very rare item. Ex Maddocks and illustrated in his book.

Envelope with crest on flap and letter headed 'Somaliland Camel Corps, British Somaliland via Aden' addressed to London bearing British Somaliland SG 95, 2a maroon tied by Berbera date stamp '8th July 1938' . The Somaliland Camel Corps had a total strength of 14 British Officers and the troops ethnic Somalis. Humphrey French was the son of Major Herbert Cummins French and was attached to 'C Company' at Burao and later at Berbera/ A rare item with text from the Camel Corps.

Reg Jones from Auckland was a Coast Watcher who was beheaded on 15th Oct 1942. A rare item.

Australian Red Cross envelope headed 'Prisoners of War Post/ Service Des Prisonniers de Guerre' , c/o Japanese Red Cross Society, Tokyo, Japan' addressed to 'Capt Robertson, Details 2, 10th Field Ambulance, A.I.F. , Australian Prisoner of War, RABUAL' with '3 Opened by Censor' label tied by 'Passed by Censor/ 352' on reverse, endorsed 'ZENT' and '9B' with framed 'Zentsuji' censor hand-stamp (Zentsuji Camp) and m/s '18-2-42' date when the mail was received. Lark Force had been in Rabual and the POW's moved to Japan. This cover was sent directly on receipt to Japan where Robertson was being held.

Hamilton-Browne, 2nd Battalion, West African Frontier Force, Lokojo, Forcados, West Africa' bearing Great Britain SG 172, 1d lilac tied by Bedford dated stamp 'Jy 13 1900' routed via Liverpool with oval 'Lokoja/Post Office' arrival '18 Aug 1900' in violet on reverse, endorsed '6th Battalion Royal Fusiliers, Finsbury Barracks' and forwarded to London with arrival 'Nov 14' and re-directed to Exmouth with arrival 'No 16' on face. Walter Hamilton-Browne became a Lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers July 1899 and was promoted to Captain in October 1900 and took part in the Munshi Expedition during 1900 were this letter tried to reach him. Scarce item of mail into the Frontier Force.
