Japanese postal stationery card 3s green cancelled by Yokohama Japan/ Meiji double ring addressed to Fila Harbour, New Hebrides, endorsed 'via Sydney' with Hong Kong transit 'Jy 25' on face and Sydney 'Au 23/93' on reverse. Superb item of destination mail, certainly unique.

Japan. 1895. Envelope addressed to France bearing 'Koban' SG 105, 8s violet and SG 113, 1s green (2) tied by Oita-Bunga vernacular date stamp with Kobe transit and Rennes receiver on reverse. Very attractive 'Koban' franking from the 'Lebel' correspondence. Emile Lebel was a French Missionary at Oita-Bungo.

Persian Gulf. (Bahrain). 1950. Registered Air mail envelope written from the 'British Bank of Iran and Middle East' addressed to India bearing SG 57, 6a on 6p purple and SG 76, 4a on 4d ultramarine tied by oval 'Registered/ Bahrain rubber date stamp in violet with registered label and framed 'Registered' hand-stamp with Bombay receiver. Scarce registered hand-stamp. Superb.

Pre stamp envelope written from Berbice dated 'May 7th 1823' addressed to 'Ballamoar, Jurby, Isle of Man' rated '6' in m/s, sent on the steamer 'Lune' via Liverpool and endorsed 'To the care of M. Kewly Esq., Liverpool. (Ballamoar Castle built in 1900 stands on this site now.

Serbia. 1915. Picture post card from Belgrade of the 'New Casserne' addressed to France cancelled by military cachet 'Escadrille M.F.S./ Le Commandant' in violet with Lyon arrival in May 1915. Scarce item from the French Serbian Air Force M.F.S 99 in World War One.
The Serbian Escadrille (Air Force) had only 7 working planes due to the Air Supremacy of the 'K.U.K. Luftrahrtruppen' over Serbian sky's the French Escadrille M.F.S. 99 arrived in March 1915.
