Lovely item of underpaid mail with scarce instructional due hand-stamp.

Air Mail envelope addressed to Belize bearing Great Britain 'Machin' 4p blue and 1st (class) orange-red tied by Newcastle date stamp '3rd June', underpaid with circular 'Delayed Not Fully Paid/ Manchester F.S.' and bearing Belize postage dues 1c green and scarlet (pair) and 15c apple-green and carmine tied by Registration/ Belize double ring and endorsed 'T/ 7d' in blue crayon.
Modern but scarce use of Belize postage due. Ex Kiddle.

Switzerland. (French Aeronautique Mission in Switzerland). 1917. Stamp-less envelope addressed to France cancelled by 'Republique Francaise/ Mission de L' Aeronautique en Service Industriel' in red on face and reverse, with 'T' hand-stamp bearing French postage dues Yvert 29, 10c brown and Yvert 31, 20c olive (pair) applied and tied on arrival by Poissy date stamp. Rare item of mail from the French Aeronautique Mission in Switzerland.

Air Mail envelope addressed to Bandoeng, Netherlands Indies bearing Switzerland Air Mail 40c grey and 2fr red/yellow tied by Geneva date stamp '9th May 41', routed via USA with 'Door Censuur Geopend' censor label tied by 'Censuur/ 5' date stamp '17th June 41' on face and reverse. Very fine.

Bulgaria. (Prisoner of War Mail). 1918. Stamp-less envelope addressed to a Bulgarian P.O.W. 'Depot de Nimes, Gard, France' cancelled by bilingual 'Gve Mocuili' date stamp and Bulgarian censor, sent via the Red Cross with circular 'Societe Bulgare de Croix Rouge/ Sofia' in red with hand-struck 'Comite International de la Croix Rouge/ Geneve/ Agence Internationale des Prisoniers de Guerre/ Section Bulgarie' on face 'Depot des Prisonniers de Guerre de Nimes/ Censsure/ 15th Region/ Bulgare' in violet. Very fine item of Prisoner of War Mail from the Bulgarian Camp in Nimes, France.

Picture post card of 'Nigeria Falls' addressed to New Zealand, bearing Canada SG 173, 1c green tied by Niagara Falls Centre date stamp 'Feb 13 01', routed via San Francisco, underpaid with circular 'T/5' hand-stamp on face with 'To Pay/ Double Deficient Postage/ 1d' and bearing New Zealand postage due SG D10, 1d green and carmine tied by Nelson receiver '23rd March'. Lovely combination.

Poland. (French Detachment in Poland). 1919. Picture post card of 'Wolynsk Market' addresses to France cancelled by 'Tresor et Postes/ 302' date stamp in carmine '22nd May 19' with circular military cachet '1st Division Polonaise/ Le Payeur' in blue on face.

In the hope of achieving independence for their homeland following the war, volunteers fought on the Western Front against the Germans. After the armistice, these units (accompanied by their French officers) were transported home in April 1919. Military mail received a wide variety of markings related to the French Mission.

Balian, Dirre-Daoua' bearing 'Coronation of Emperor Selassie' Yvert 180a, 1/ 8th m orange and blue (10) tied by Harrar date stamp in blue (light cancel) with Dire-Daoua receiver. Nice item of domestic mail with surcharge errors.
"M. Balian" was an Armenian trader in Ethiopia.

Ethiopia. 1930. Picture post card addressed to Paris bearing Yvert 173, 1/2m grey and green (3) tied by Dire Daoua date stamp with Paris receiver on reverse. Difficult surcharge stamps to find on cover or card.

Registered envelope addressed to Australia bearing French New Hebrides F26, 30c brown (2)(on reverse) and SG F27, 40c orange (2) tied by Postes Condominium Port Vila/ Nelles Hebrides double ring with boxed 'R/ Vila/ New Hebrides/ No 251' in hand-stamp in violet on face with Sydney arrival on reverse.
