Nice item of Suspended mail due to the Japanese Occupation.

Egypt. (Indian Field Post Office In Egypt). 1943. Registered Air Mail Indian postal stationery envelope 'one and a half annas' blue upgraded with SG 271b, 3a violet (12) tied by 'Field Post Office No 12' date stamp '19th Aug 43' with provisional registered label addressed to Scotland with framed 'From H.M. Ship/ Passed by Censor'. Field Post Office 12 was held in reserve in Egypt and used by the Navy. Superb item.

India. (Dehra Dun Internment Camp). 1944. Air Mail envelope addressed to 'Central Internment Camp, Wing 6, Prem Nagar, Dehra Dum, Brit India bearing Germany 25pf blue tied by Frieburg double ring '11th Nov 44' with German censor tape tied by circular German censor cachet, endorsed 'By Airmail from Bagdad' routed via Egypt with 'Censorship/M' Egypt censor on face and framed 'Crown/ Passed/ DHC/3' censor applied on arrival. Superb ingoing item from Germany to Dehra Dun Internment Camp.

India. (North West Frontier). 1921. Stamp-less envelope addressed to England headed 'On Active Service' cancelled by 'F.P.O. 151' date stamp '26th Sept 21' with framed 'Field Service/Postage Free' on face. Nice item from the Kyber Pass North West Frontier Stationary Office. Date later than noted by Proud.

Greece. (Indian Field Post Office In Salonika). 1946. Stamp-less Air Mail letter envelope addressed to London written from the '3rd Balkan Regiment, Salonika' cancelled by 'Field Post Office R-32' date stamp '8th Feb 46' endorsed 'Forces Mail' . Lovely item of mail from the Indian Field Post Office in Greece during the Greek Civil War.

Sir Neville Chamberlain, Commander in Chief, Madras' bearing Great Britain SG 150, 1s green (plate 12) tied by Devonport/ 250 duplex dated 'April 20', endorsed 'by Brindisi' and carried on the steamer "Ceylon" with sea Post Office 'April 23' arriving Brindisi '24th April' and over land Alexandria to Suez '27/ 28th April and arriving Bombay '10th May' with bold 'G.P.O./ Madras/ My 12/ Overland Mail' double ring on reverse.

Very few Y Censor covers from Akyab recorded. Lovely item.

Lovely item of Travelling Post Office mail used on the Bhamo to Katha Irrawaddy River Steamer. Scarce item only seen on a few covers.

Very nice franking paying the 5 Rupees 14 anna two Oceans Air mail rate.

Very rare Burma Field Post Office No 7 at Yaenangyang. At the time of Publication not discovered by Proud, this the only recorded example. Ex Proud.

Air Mail Photographic card 'Local Bazaar' written from 'Maymyo' dated '10th March 41' addressed to London endorsed 'Via Air Mail/ Rangoon, Chunking and U.S.A.' with triangular 'Passed/Z/Censor/1' in violet on face. Superb item with 'Z' censor from Lashio, censor 'I' not recorded by Morenweiser and listed by him from Oct 41 until 18 March 42. Great item for the Trans-Pacific- Trans-Atlantic Air mail exhibitor.

Rare 'Z' censor from Lashio with maybe ten items know.

Official mail envelope headed 'On His Majesty's Service' addressed to 'The Commissioner of Imperial Customs, Tengyueh, China' bearing India 'Service' SG 077, 1/2a green tied by 'Experimental P.O.R. 19' double ring '6th July 20' routed via Bhamo with transit '9th July' on reverse. Scarce Experimental Post Office/R. 19', believed to be from Rangoon. Very little is known about these scarce marks. EX Proud.

Printed Circular from 'Finlay, Scott & Co, Bombay' dated '14th Jan 1870' addressed to Amsterdam bearing India SG 61, 2a yellow tied by Bombay/India Paid duplex and oval 'Finlay/Scott' firms chop in green, routed via Suez and Marseilles with Anglo-French accountancy 'GB/1f20c' on face (Van der Linden 1582), rated '9' in m/s with Amsterdam receiver. Very rare accountancy used for circular on the Bombay-Aden Sea Post Office.

Attractive item and scarce Delhi Air Mail hand-stamp.
