Stamp-less envelope dated '14th Feb 1842' addressed to Napoli cancelled by oval 'Corfu/ 15/ Fiebraro' with disinfection slits and boxed 'Lazaret' hand-stamp on reverse, hand-struck 'Ancona' and oval 'Agenzia Del Lloyd Austriaco/ Ancona' in black (Tchil 457), rated '10' in m/s. Very attractive.

Pre-stamp envelope addressed to the 'Bank of Scotland, Edinburgh' written from Corfu cancelled by oval 'Officio del la Postal Generale/ Corfu' hand-stamp with Corfu Town cachet on reverse. charged '9' in red m/s and rated '6/10' on arrival with boxed '1/2' hand-stamp applied for the toll tax in Scotland. Very fine and attractive.
